I had this on tap at John Harvard's in Cambridge.
Appearance: Pours an opaque black with a creamy/fluffy beige head. Leave patchy lace in the glass.
Smell: Sweet and roasted malts, hints of dark chocolate, light hops.
Taste: Roasted malts, burnt sugar, coffee, chocolate, with a hoppy bitterness in the finish. Overall the flavors were relatively mild.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, medium-light-bodied, low carbonation.
Drinkability: Easy to drink and tasty.
Overall: Enjoyable, it really hit the spot after spending a couple hours moving. I'm guessing this is an English Porter since it was relatively mild.
