No head except at the rim. No lace. Cloudy, dark orange-amber color.
It's always difficult to smell a bar poured brew and this one is no exception. All of the aromas are mild, but this does smell well balanced with paler malts and peppery hop.
The flavor is also mild compared to the style. Starts with a low caramel malt flavor. The bitterness doesn't show up until the swallow. The body is reasonable, maybe a little on the spritzy side.

Had in the sampler at the restaurant. The drink had a murky gold appearance with no real lacing to it. The aromas were not overpowering at all for an IPA. However, they ended up being relatively weak in flavoring for an IPA. A decent hoppyness level was in the drink, but it was pretty average. The taste, however, blew me away. Based on the aromas, I was not expecting this kind of a wallop of hop flavoring. Definitely took me by surprise. A great body to the drink helped solidify its hop characteristics. Overall, though there was a slight imbalance to the drink, I thought this was a great IPA.

A - this IPA pours a fresh apple cider-like hazy brown, 1/2 finger thick tan head
S - a sweet honey aroma surrounded by a floral undertone, and piney hints, i can tell this is going to be hoppy
T - yup, hoppy, ultra bitter piney and floral tastes as well, the bitterness are overpowering so cant discern any other flavors
M - bitter, you definitely must love your IBU's to enjoy this
D - again, high if you love hoppy bitterness, otherwise, you may not enjoy this
