lemme know others who've had this if i got the style right, since i added. i'm not 100% sure on this one
A - very black, as the name alludes, with a thick caramel colored head, cant see any carbonation but it must be there
S - it has that hoppy roasted malt powerful aroma that i love in stouts
T - to me it tastes like a nice stout infused with licorice, a nice sharp anise flavor surrounded by that great roasted malt flavors, a real high quality stouty brew
M&D - smooth and balanced, a really great all around brew, thinner body than i imagined but otherwise high quality and easy down. i really enjoyed this beer
