Chased a goat in the snow with this one on 1/8/2007. 16-oz. pint in the heart of the Square.
Newest beer on, nothing on the menu to describe it, but was told it weighed in around 7%. Excellent 1/8-inch of frothy film settles to some piling mixed with larger nebulas. Hue is almost a ruby brown, deep and inviting with a touch of cloudiness but not so much that it masks the pleasant action tippling upwards. Tangy candy apple tartness and banana splits on the nose to start, along with some sweet carob notes and a subtle hint of peanut brittle. Caramel kindness on the mouth is expected, as are the floral banana notes; the apple tartness noted on the nose is not as prevalent on the tongue. Nice carbonation lends this a medium body with a high drinkability.
Really enjoyed this one people need to get themselves to Harvard Square!
