Served out of a 64 ounce growler from John Harvard's in Wayne, PA. It pours to a medium yellow/amber hue, translucent with little to no head.
Ample grains in the aroma, a slight hop whiff, overall mild as the style might suggest.
An easy-drinking session ale is this brew; crisp on the palate, a tiny bit of oily hop character, just enough to balance a Cheerios kind of grainy maltiness. It's not complex but it doesn't really need to be.
Certainly deserves a 4.0 for drinkability simply for it's ability to represent itself as a solid session ale; paired well with calamari, sliced cucumbers, and mild buffalo wings.
