Came to the table a dark copper, and had a nice malty scent, with just tiny hints of the peat found in scottish ales. A great taste, though, very strong and robust, a nice malty kick with a wonderful bit of oatmeal. A very nice job on combining the two tastes. It goes down smoothly and is a very good beer.
