Probably my favorite JH offering to date, this came to the table a wonderful opaque with a good head and nice lacing. It had a wonderful scent, an excellent mix of burnt grains and dark, bitter chocolate. Great porter taste with an awesome dark chocolate flavor, with just a bit too much bitterness in the aftertaste. It goes down very smooth and creamy. Well worth a try if you like porter, stouts, or chocolate ales at all.
