Totally clear, pale gold color, all-white fine head that had really good retention.
The nose is very herbal and earthy with a baked-bread and buttery malt scent. Oak-wood, slightly sour yeast.
The flavor has a robust and hardy buttery malt with wheat, corn-meal, roastie oak wood, and an earthy to sour yeast effect. Good complexity of flavor here.
Very crisp, clean and light but buttery smooth going down, just the way it should be.
An easy drinker with a big herbal edge.
