Stopped by the Harvard Square location this past Saturday night and tried something new called the Dubbel Wassail. The color was brown like most dubbels. Very little head and not much lacing. The smell was of winter spices and coriander. The flavor was very interesting, as it combined the sweetness of a dubblel (sugar, orange) with a winter warmer (clove, cinnamon). Quite a nice hybrid, making a wassail in the style of a dubbel. A bit thin in the body, but quite drinkable. A nice experiment.
