Poured a light copper hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a sweet grainy malt with a slight orangy hop aroma.
The taste consisted of a heavy wort flavor with a warming alcohol. There was a clinging sweetness as well.
The mouthfeel was thick and sticky.
Overall a unique ale as no hops were used in boil. The only trace of hop presence came from the Nugget dry hopping. An unbalanced beer that was hard to finish.
