Pours a nice dark brown color with a creamy head. The nose brings some fairly-strong vanilla that is a bit overwhelming and a tad bit fake. Covered up a bit by some roasted malt. The toast coordinates the vanilla, roast, and caramel bread a little bit better. Pretty decent feel bit a bit of sweetness takes it away from being really good in this department. Drinks pretty well overall.

On nitro tap at JH. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is heavily vanilla, with some sugary sweet roasted malt. Flavor...well this really does taste like Bailey's Irish cream...Very creamy mouthfeel, very sweet with lots of vanilla. It's ok but hard to drink a lot of. Interesting perhaps, but not something I really enjoyed.

Poured a black hue with a two finger creamy tan head. There was very good retention and good lacing.
The smell featured a strong Bailey's element with some background burnt grain.
The taste consisted of that Bailey's flavor (which was added intentionally according to the menu description). There was a generous amount of lactose that led to a cafe au lait flavor.
The mouthfeel was full and a coating.
Overall a decent stout for what it is designed to be - a Bailey's infused milk stout.

Says on the menu it has a "special ingredient to make it taste more like Bailey's Irish Cream." That special ingredient tastes like it is vanilla syrup extract, and a lot of it, and it really brings down the beer. In my opinion cream stouts have enough sweetness on their own, but this syrup blunts any of the potential subtleties found in the flavor. It was dark, rich, and smooth, but too sticky-sweet and one dimensional for my liking. My girlfriend seemed to enjoy it though.
