A very pale yellow and clear beer. No head. Spicy, grain aroma. Rather clean overall.
Crisp, dry and bready with a distinct German-like malt character. Light sweetness, faint spice. Quick lemon rind-like bitter flash. Thin grape skin flavour. Biscuit flavours follow, then metallic, then loads of husk tannins (not overly astringent, but annoying).
Pretty run of the mill. Light, easy to drink, but way too grainy for my liking.

Presentation: On tap and served in an American pint glass.
Appearance: Thin white lace with a lacking retention, very pale golden with a crystal clear clarity.
Smell: Dry and light biscuity malt aroma with hints of herbal and spicy hop, a very clean nose.
Taste: Deep running crisp mouth feel with a moderate body. Dry grainy imported malt flavour showing hints of grape skin and light biscuit. Ample hop spicy bitterness with a touch of herbal flavour. Long dry husky finish.
Notes: Perhaps a tad too grainy, the husk bite at the end is mildly bothersome but other than that this is a decent pilsner.
