fourth and final day of NERAX 2009
this is the contribution from the connecticut branch of john harvard's.
deep golden straw color with amber tones. bubbly, sudsy head fades to ring. no lace.
aroma: metallic whiff gives way to grassy hop, with malty, bready foundation.
taste: toasted malts and yeast with grassy hops giving mild to moderate bitterness. a bit on the sour side and somewhat tart though...
smooth but getting watery. some texture (acidic?) in the finish. mild carbonation.
