Poured a hazy golden color into a pint glass, with more carbonation than expected, but less than a finger of white head. The smell revealed very, very feint hints of banana and spice, but it seemed like a real effort to find it. The taste did reveal a little more in the way of banana in the finish/aftertaste, but very average overall. The feel was decently balanced between carbonation and a smooth medium body, but the flavorless aspect made this unsessionable for me.

Sample at the Pittsburgh location. Surprisingly clear golden color with a medium and frothy white head, and patchy lacing. Aroma of bananas and wheat. Light body with a wheat and yeast flavor, along with some fruit and zesty spice. The finish is midly hoppy with more banana in the aftertaste. Nothing stands out as particularly good or bad about this beer.

My first taste of John Harvard's brews...
Pours moderately hazy, unfiltered, pretty standard looking for a hefe. Smells of sour and bready yeasts with hints of citrus and malts. Taste follows in suit, rather light, crisp, bready. A decent smooth beer, was expecting a little more character, though.

Pretty unimpressive for the style. This was more like a lager in just about every way. Cloudy golden yellow, but no real yeast sediment anywhere in my glass. Aroma was pretty bad, like an old musty bathroom. Had some light flavors of citrus and fruit, but that was about it. Unpleasant malty aftertaste. Not recommended.

Solid Hefeweizen. Hazey yellowy-golden colour with a thin, white lace. Nose fills with wheaty oates. Tastey rolled oats and wheat without any hop interference. Dry, light-medium body.
Liquid oates are great to to me. Clean, crisp and tastey. Cheers!
