Ordered at JH Framingham location on Sat 2/20/10. Was not listed on the chalkboard yet, but we heard a bartender mention it, so my friend and I each ordered one. Served in a tulip style glass. Dark brown color with a hint of ruby red. No head at all, would have been nice to see some on a Belgian style beer. Smell was fruity and boozy. Taste was a redeeming quality. Very fruity, like figs, dates, and grapes. But also had some underlying tartness, like apples. Mouthfeel was smooth, but you could tell the abv was on the high side. Very easy beer to drink, on the sweet side, so it paired better with my apple cobbler a la mode dessert. I am glad we inquired about this beer.
