This beer was a clear deep amber, with a thin layer of head. It dissipated quickly.
Aroma was sweet honey and rich malt. No real nuttiness, no caramel. There was also a distinct buttery character.
Taste was sweet honey, rich malt, and butter. Kind of odd.
Mouthfeel was pretty good for a brown ale. Not heavy, but it held its own.
Drinkability has to take a hit. That buttery taste threw it out of balance.
