Touted as the beer for those averse to the Pumpkin Spice Ale which has now reared it's head for the 2010 season.
Poured a murky burnt orange hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured a light toasted malt with a moderate caramel sweetness.
The taste consisted of toasted sweet malts, a light caramelized sugar and a balancing hop.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.
Overall a decent standard amber. Seemingly the pumpkin spice without the spice.
