Brewed with Pale, Crystal, and Chocolate malts. Hopped with Amarillo and Cascade.
This was a nice, hazy amber beer with little to no head.
Aroma was mostly a Cascade profile. Pine and grapefruit hop aromas blended well.
Taste was sharply bitter, with hop resins prominent. Grapefruit and caramel battled for the rest of the taste.
Mouthfeel was pretty good, a nice solid body with some heft to it. Not too chewy (pun intended).
Drinkability is very good, if you like IPAs. This one was partway between an IPA and an American Black Ale, but closer to a brown IPA.
