Brewed with pale, Caramunich, and Munich malts. Hopped with Perle and Cascade.
The beer had a clear amber body, with a thin layer of head that persisted as I drank.
Aroma was sweet and slightly floral, but heavy on butterscotch. Diacetyl was prominent.
Taste was hoppy and buttery, with mild malts and notes of caramel. Again, prominent diacetyl.
Mouthfeel was a little thin, but also somewhat oily. Not a great combination.
Drinkability... not for me. If I had wanted that much butter flavor, I'd have gone for movie theater popcorn.
