Tap at framingham brew pub.
Pasty white fizzy fluffy almost 1 finger head, crystal clear golden honey colored.
Nose sweet malty aroma, light toasty pils, light juicy wheat like malt, hint of fruity esters, hint of fruity and touch grassy hops, but overall fairly thin.
Taste starts with more sweet malts, plenty of grainy malt flavors, light wheat and pilsner malts. Light bock like esters come through with light fruity flavors and some warming booze and a slight yeast flavor. Bitterness kicks in with a decent bitting hop, some light grassy hops, fruity hops, and hint of floral. The bitterness turns slightly astringent on the finish as it dries and there isn't much malt left to back up the bitter hops, light grassy slight earthy hops linger, as well as light sticky malts, and touch of fruity esters.
Mouth is med bodied, decent thickness, decent carb, hint if booze warmth.
Overall not bad, hops are there but not what I expected, decent malts but doesn't give the toastiness I expected, bit on the sweet side, and astringent finish doesn't help the drinkabilty.
