Review from my old notes.
Nice creamy 1 finger head fades semi slowly with lots of lacing, hazy murky purple reddish berry colored.
Nose is musty, berry seed and skin, almost vinous, lots of fresh berry, blueberry, blackberry, light fluffy saison malts and wheat, hint floral spices, light syrupy candy sugar, light Belgian golden malt sweetness.
Taste brings berry as well, berry juice, backberry, raspberry, vinous and musty skin, light tartness and bit of acidity, light esters and some warming booze, Belgian golden saison malts with a bit of wheat, fluffy, light spices, hint citrus rind. Finish is dry with gritty farmhouse feel, light spices and bitterness, light tannic skin and bit of fruit, and Belgian malt sweet characters lingering.
Mouth is med bodied, decent carb, some warming booze.
Overall nice tasty drinkable, not too bitter or tannic but decent amount, nice fresh fruit, not much farmhouse or saison funk though.
