The colour is pale straw yellow; the two finger head is compact and white.

The smell is sweet and a bit chemical with notes of cardboard, chalk and cookie dough.

The taste is sweet and weak. Some anonymous notes of malt and a slight chemical note of wet paper and chalk. Medium body. The aftertaste is artificially sweet with some minerals and a hint of bitterness.

The carbonation medium; lots of small bubbles. The liquid is a bit smooth.

A below-the-average euro lager.

A bit of a pale lagerish colour, very bubbly head.

Sweet flowery hoppy aroma, similar to many Czech pilsners...

Quite sweet, like Amstel but more flowery. Needs a bit more hops to balance the sweetness in my opinion. But I always want more hops in every beer I try basically ; )

Light, watery mouth feel.

Overall I like it, kind of Amstel meets Czech. This is also mega good value so gets some extra points in my overall score ; )

Golden color with an immense mushroom bright and thick head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma of grassy hops, malt sweetness, lemon sourness and bread.
Likewise, flavor of grassy hops, malt sweetness, some grains, soap, Lager yeast and mineral-metallic. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light to medium body with proper carbonation.
Average Pils, this one seemed not that fresh, it felt stale. Something didn't work out here, maybe it was the metallic and soap notes.

A: Golden body with a thick white head.

S: Very harsh grain. Not very inviting.

T: Very harsh grainy flavour, burned malt with hints of dark caramel. Fairly bitter and ever so slightly sweet.

O: Somewhat satisfying but nothing to write home about.

Catch up rating from notes: 2012 .5l can picked up at gas station. Pours out a pale golden, light foamy head. Aroma seems a bit off, grassy, but some school paste notes too. Taste too is grainy with some more of the mealy wallpaper paste notes. Drinkable, but not great.

kinda like a mix between the euro pale lagers heiniken and a 3 horses

not the best of the mass produced and exported euro pale lagers from macro brews.

fairly uninspiring , i would say i like i less than 3 horses and stella artois and most of the main exported euro pale lagers, but it doesn't fall very far behind.
its tastes a bit more german than most of the beers iv mentioned in this review. i have no feud with this beer, i am not against it, if i was offered a good deal for more of it i would probably buy it.

its also cheaper than Heineken which is probably worse

i got it in a pack with two of these and the 500 ml pilsner version for only about 4 dollars, which was a great deal in my eyes.

Pours a clear yellow color with a crisp white head that leaves some lacing around the glass.

Smell is of corn and rice, although I don't think there is any rice in this beer.

Taste starts out with a nice leathery bite that then fades to some floral hop flavors with malty finish.

Carbonation is noticeable. Medium bodied beer.

Pretty good beer that I would buy again when I'm looking for something easy to drink but has a little flavor.

Really cheap (about $0.5 here), so it's even better.

Pale yellow beer. Head is big but disappears fast.

Smell is not interesting, average lager-y thing.

Tastes solid and crisp, a little sweet, leaves very pleasant hop aftertaste. Better than pilsener variant of this beer.

Has the best qualities of german beer (in my opinion)

Moderate carbonation.
