Served cool from 500ml bottle into straight pilsner mug.

L) Lovely deep golden / amber colour, clear, 1cm fluffy white head, lots of bubbles. Archetypal Czech light lager!

S) Smell is a bit off in my book, a bit of a meaty odour to it. Maybe a bit of a burnt odour.

T) Er, yeah that weird meaty / baked bean flavour is there. Then a bit of sourness, ending in a metallic taste. A bit of discernible Saaz hop bitterness. Not good.

F) On-style, lively carbonation, no real skanky aftertastes to say how bad the taste is.

O) I've had quite a few Czech lagers and I'm pretty sure this is the worst one I've had, so don't buy it.

12% Plato.
Pours clear golden with bubbly white head, so-so retention.
Smell is good - grainy, doughy, slightly grassy, diacetyl.
Taste - grain with pleasant grassy hops, dry enough on a palate.
Medium body, soft carbonation. Not very interesting beer.
