Copenhagen 27/1 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny, who's having a bulk sale of Svaneke. As "Svaneke Greencopper". The usual design with a label shaped like Bornholm in light green and brown.

Pours hazy amber with a bubbly white head. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam exactly covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is fairly weak. Sweetish with caramel, grains and light sourish notes.

Medium strong carbonation and watery palate.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium strong bitterness.

Pretty middle of the road Danish Vienna - but in the better end compared to the endless supply of "Classics" on the Danish market.

The liquid is somewhat cloudy; the colour is gold with a tint of orange. The off white foam forms a compact sinking head with some lacing.

The smell is sweet with some bitter notes, lots of malt and honey.

The taste is very malty and a bit roasted. There are lots of hops, both aroma and bitter ones. The aftertaste got salty notes, a balanced bitterness and a long balanced malty finish.

The carbonation is quite gentle with small bubbles.
