Although the beer is unfiltered, the liquid is clear; the colour is deep yellow/amber. The beer makes a fizzing sound when poured, creating a large head that slowly sinks down to an airy white head, while leaving very little lacing.
The smell is fresh with a fine bitterness. Some notes of yeast, noble hops and a flowery mild sweetness.
The taste is malty with unclean (in a positive Kellerbier way) notes of yeast, minerals, flowers and fresh vegetables. The aftertaste brings a very mild bitterness (with a metallic hint), fruity/flowery notes of herbs, butter and rye bread.
The carbonation is quite mild, but there are lots of small fresh bubbles. The liquid is mid smooth.
