Asserbo 28/6 2025. 44 cl Can from COOP Discount 365, Nyvej, Liseleje. Yellow Can with a drawing of the outline of Bornholm with Strange figures of Tigers, snakes and temples.
Pours unclear Golden yellow with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patches of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruits and malts mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Peach with a hint of mango. Caramel. Tangerine and grapefruit. A bit dry.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium, intense with a rather strong, sweetness, followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Indian pale ale with a solid malty backbone from the island of Bornholm.
