LYS GULD - New beer from Svaneke Bryghus
Golden, gallant and divine
A copper-gold lager with a white, lush head. The aroma is of grain, herbs, flowers and ripe fruit. The taste is distinctly mild with nuances of honey, grain and chamomile flower. A discreet hop bitterness provides balance.

Copenhagen 29/3 2019. 50 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh NV. Golden version of Svankes usual design with the label shared like the Island of Bornholm. Tagline is “Good Beer Requires Time. Enjoy it”.
Pours unclear golden a,ber with small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is malty, not too sweet and a little salty. Sweetish malts, bread, Corn, sharp salty, sourish notes rummaging in the background.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is rather sweet without being cloying. Followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish withbbitter undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
Decent impersonation of a Helles.
