Even though there is only one large palm tree growing in Svaneke, we believe that something exotic rests over our small town on the edge of the world.
This loving beer greeting is for all those who like a juicy lager and who think that organic is the way forward. In addition, we have done a little magic with the good Danish malt and made the beer gluten-free, so there is “aloha” for all the sips.

Copenhagen 17/2 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Another feature in Svaneke Gluten-free selection of beers. Light green label shaped like the island of Bornholm with some blue and yellow thing that looks like it's made in Microsoft Smart Art.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, frothy layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer and clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish with a notable impression of hops. Sweet malts, grains and corn. Bitter-ish odor in the background. Rounded.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet balanced by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is semi-dry.
I have not had much faith in Svaneke Gluten-free brand but they've managed to make a more than decent bitter lager.
