Copenhagen 22/1 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Tov, Kbh Ø. There is apparently no end to the number of Christmas Beers from Svaneke this year this is number 3. Very red and Christmas-like label.
Pours slightly hazy amber with small yellowish head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish and with a prominent alcoholic presence. Caramel, butter, lightly roasted malts. Yeasty basement odor. Not unpleasant.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, almost flat, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a weaker bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers shortly.
A bit thin Christmas beer which smells better than it tastes.
