The happy summer guests miss the beautiful sky over Bornholm on a starry Christmas night. The stars frolick in a tangle of clusters and nebulae, pulsating, shining red, blue and yellow. A delight for the eye and mind.
This beer is created as a companion to these quiet starry moments. A dark and frothy Belgian ale with the right strength for Christmas. Spicy in the taste with nuances of a mossy forest floor and spruce. Top fermented.

Copenhagen 21/12 2018. 75 cl bottle from Fakta. Drawing of a strange landscape with red fir trees on S white and snowy ground with the shape of Bornholm as a star sign in the sky.
Pours murky amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of fairly dense foam covering the surface of the beer. No Lacing to speak of.
Aroma is malty and little heavy. Grains and sweet malts. Light sourish notes. Fermented fruit. A boozy, alcoholic presence.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by stronger, metallic bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly bitter with hints of alcohol.
A little harsh. But manages a good balance by achiving a good bitterness despite being grounded in a solid malt-base.
