Calma - Sicilian Pilsner
Inspired by the slow pace of Italian island life, this pilsner is a light and refreshing treat that tastes mostly of “one more.” Note the slight hint of sea salt that characterizes the Sicilian beer tradition.

Copenhagen 17/3 2026. 44 cl can from Discount 365, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Off-white can with the name om name and brewery in red and a striped silhouette of the island Bornholm.
Pours unclear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam cable of covering much of anything. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a dry scent of citrus and grass. Sweet pale malts and bread. Lemon and freshly mown grass. Dry vibe.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. A bit fizzy.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a light sweet undertone. Salty tang. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
It is not a Tipolis but it is well balanced and refreshing.
