Copenhagen 28/12 2016. 75 cl bottle from Fakta. Snowy and woody landcape on the label. Very winter-like.
Pours hazy orange with a white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is of yeasty cellar with a sharp sourness Citrus and caramel.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Oily and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is quite sweet - and getting sweeter as the beer heats up. Light bitterness. Bittersweet aftertaste. Long lasting.
Very inspired by Belgian beers - but that’s not the worst place to find your inspiration. At least when you are producing beer.
