Copenhagen 22/9 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. I can understand Cervoise is named after an ancient beer made without using hops. Blue, white and red label. A tricolore beer?

Pours orange with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Disappears quite fast leaving only flimsy patches of foam floating around. No lacing to speak of.

Aroma is sourish and quite tart. A little fruity sweetness in the background. Gooseberries and lemon. A line sharp.

Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by a pronounced sourness. Not much bitterness though. Aftertaste is dominated by sourness.

A fresh sour and tart experience.
