Our Easter Brew is a deep golden lager with a creamy white head and a gentle hop bitterness. The aroma is characterized by hops, herbs and ripe fruit. Notes of malt, fruit, a touch of caramel and a discreet residual sweetness characterize the taste. Pleasant nuances of hops and pine rest in the aftertaste and complete a well-balanced beer.
Goes well with Easter celebrations and Danish lunch dishes.

Copenhagen 1/4 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Yellow label formed as the island Bornholm in Svaneke's usual design.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a white head. Stable. Settles as flimsy patches of foam. Moderate lacing.
Malty aroma. Quite sweet with notes of caramel and biscuits. Some fruity sourness.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively texture.
Flavor is sweetish followed by a medium strong bitterness. Rather short aftertaste.
Works okay with food but not something I would go out of my way to get.
