Copenhagen 10/1 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Blue version of Svaneke Bryghus' usual design with a label formed as the island Bornholm.
Pours clear nut brown with an off-white head. A bit bubbly. Disappears fairly quickly leaving only patchy remnants of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet. Brown sugar, toffee, cheroot and a little chocolate.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is all good sweet things of Christmas rolled into one. Caramel, sugar, toffee, raisins and a little chocolate on top of it. I kinda miss some of the more bitter things of Christmas. Like disappointment and stressful hunts for Christmas gifts.
If you are into harmless sweet things this will make your Christmas.
