pint at Porcupine Pub after a Timpanogos summit
a: served in a standard shaker pint, the lager is a deep orange amber in color, with a white coating head with good lace
s: aromas of nutty, toasted german lager malts, nice leafy oktoberfest style, grassy hops, mildly sweet, nice start
m: carbonation on the higher side of the medium range, crisp and lively on the light-medium body
t: the taste is formed of grainy lager malts giving a nutty, leafy oktoberfest character, some light toast, hops bring a grassy character with a moderate cleansing bitterness, very clean and flavorful at once
o: a nice, enjoyable oktoberfest that pulls off a nice range of flavor and aroma given the abv limit adhered to

This is a very tasty brew, quite different than the average Oktoberfest brew's I've had. Pours a clear orange/amber color, nice carbonation, nice head, tons of lacing afterwards. Scents of hops, malts, and caramel. The taste is more hoppy than other brew's of this style, slightly malty, and a touch of caramel. Medium body. Very drinkable, another excellent brew from Rooster's, highly recommended.
