Canned January 24th but it was a freebie..
It pours a hazy gold with a small head of foam, decent lacing.
Smells hoppy and malty. Biscuit malt with light sweetness, hoppy with noble like bitterness.
Taste is just like the smell. This is good but fresh, I'm sure would have been more impressive.
Good mouthfeel.
This is the oldest of the free 4pack I got from Mike at Poplar Wine and Spirits. The other 3 beers are from late March and early April.

probably the best pils i had in utah last weekend, crisper than any of them, brisk and refreshing and light, a perfect compliment to the chicken wings at their b street brewery location (which is awesome by the way). poured from a can, since its over 5% abv, but i could have crushed a six pack of these right from the can, its that kind of beer, rightly named, even though it was no conditions for the actual patio when we were there, yikes! this took me to summer through, with some light noble hops on the back end, a really light body, and a quick finish that leaves me refreshed, but also thirsty for another pull. its not overly complex, pretty classically styled, and without a ton of european character from either the grain or the yeast, but still tastes like pils malt to me, light and tidy on the fermentation, and as much a feel thing for me as a flavor one overall. i dont remember their beers being this good at the downtown ogden brewpub years ago, even though i found them enjoyable then, seems like quality has been stepped up pretty radically here since this place opened. excellent pils here, should be agreeable to any lager fan, i was very pleased with this as a first drink after a long morning of antiquing!
