Today marks the opening of our Salt Lake Airport location. To celebrate our 4th location, we've brewed a collaborative beer with our airport friends Uinta Brewing.

Draft at SLC terminal. Cloudy, bright golden, thin head. Light hoppy aroma. Taste is hoppy, but not really juicy. It's the harsher part of the citrus peel. Not what I was expecting . Kind of bland.

Pours a pale yellow color with a near clear transparency. Head is a finger of white foam. Aroma is bubblegum, butter, and a slice of citrus. Flavor profile follows that same bath, pumping out butter notes like movie theatre popcorn. Some citrus mixes into the middle. It's really muddled, with an initial soft sweetness that's undercut quickly. Bready malts. Mouth feel is medium-thin with an uneven effervescence. Overall, really muddled and dashed and slashed by butter.

brand new beer here from these guys, in collaboration with uinta, a very drinkable, juice forward, low bitterness ipa, something quite modern but also approachable, unique but not forced, nothing overdone about it, and its one of those cases where i appreciate the draft beer alcohol restrictions in utah, nobody is calling this a session, but if they did it would be near the head of that class, and that is precisely what it is, very fresh and tasty. its honey colored, not quite clear and not quite hazy, with an average white head from the tap. big stone fruit notes to this one, ripe nectarine, sweet apple, and floral honey, along with a weedy dankness and some oiliness as well, possibly southern hemisphere hops, but more bold to me than they usually are, less herbal, no real melon and vinous aspects here, relatively unique even. the flavor isnt quite as sexy as the nose but its very good, the hops dominate but there is some pale two row type barley malt in support, this is anything but one dimensional, and its drier and faster finishing than a lot of the juicy types, clean on the ferment too, i like how drinkable this is. light pine and tangerine to the hops as it warms up, more slick feeling as it does, but good carbonation throughout. late palate orange juice, chamomile, and mango. overall a nice mix of flavorful and drinkable, a bit more modern than a lot of their other hoppy stuff i have had too. nice.
