nice little hibiscus sour here, there might be some raspberry or even strawberry in it too, its tangy and clean, light but still flavorful, and the hibiscus is natural without taking over and making this perfume, really dug this. have not had many sours from these guys, but this really is cool beer, sort of sexy in the glass, delicate to drink, summery and bright. mild rose pink hue to this, mostly clear, short white head from the tap. the nose here is floral of course, the flowers in front of any fruit that might be here, a cranberry tang though and a freshness, some tea-like bitterness too, and the lacto, which has lemon and even orange citrus notes to it but is also subtle, which is a good companion to the hibiscus, and its clean, no sweat or cheese or weirdness at all, not too sour to drink a ton of either, but pretty good pucker here, love where they cut off the bacterial part, nice for summer. very little from the grain here, but its grounded enough to still be beer, again i like the mild nature of this overall and the minimal malt side really helps with that. definite raspberry type tartness and summery fruitiness although it could just be the hibiscus, rather dynamic either way. i could have drank ten of these, the right amount of acidity, good carbonation, very light body. awesome summer sour, looking forward to more like this from roosters!
