WOW! Finally a brew in a bottle from Roosters.
500ml
Poured into a Roosters true pint glass a nice cloudy dark copper color, nice carbonation, with a very nice one-finger plus white head, and some nice sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, with some nice hop notes, a little fruity too. The taste is bitter, mostly malty, and nice little fruit note thrown in, slightly hoppy. Medium body. Overall this is a tasty brew at a reasonable price. I did see the Argo and another, but no bottles were to be had at the SLS, hopefully next time. Way to go Roosters, finally a brew above 4% ABV from ya's.

Beer #69 in my great Utah Brew Hunt.
This has an unusual fruit tone to it. Kind of a malty edge mixed in with it. Spice tones from hops are kind of mashed up with the fruity malty thing going on.
This is just okay, really. For a pale ale, I would hope for a little more hop punch and a cleaner beer overall. Okay, a lot more of everything, except for what it is. The alcohol burn could stand to go away also.
A miss. Recalculate the recipe and try again, I say.
