Had on tap at the Layton, UT Restaurant. As the name suggests, it's a Black Pale Ale, hence the Oxymoron name. The roasted malts blend nicely with the hops to give the right mix of malts and subtle hops. Due to Utah laws, this 4% beer most likely would be much better if they didn't have to water down their beers to adhere to law. Such a shame. I would like to try a real version of this excellent beer.
