This is possibly the perfect beer. I hesitate to rate it a straight 5 in fear that I have yet to taste a significant amount of beer variety.
I would say this is a better beer than the Atlantic IPA brewed by the same company.
A: Two finger initial head goes to a thin bubbly head with medium lacing. reddish amber in color.
S: Sweet hop smell is a mix of Cascade hops, Kent Golding hops, and a third (unknown) hop variety.
T: Very balanced beer with a bitter finishing overall taste. Tastes very much so of grapefruit when finished.
M: Smooth feel for 99% of the time it is in your mouth when light to no carbonation hits the mouth.
D: Wonderful balanced beer that will make your eyes, mouth, nose, and tongue very happy. This is better than its brother beer (Atlantic IPA) because of its smooth, round taste.
