(From notes)
Pours with a generous two-finger darker tan head; jet black color that has clear ruby hints around the edges; some residual lacing, but not a lot.
Roasted maltiness is the first thing that jumps out in terms of the aroma; a faint hint of smoke; some bittersweet chocolate; not getting any coffee (not that it's a coffee infused stout). Pretty solid. Flavor is also quite good; roasty; richly bitter coffee comes through; really not getting any sweetness which is great IMO; dry and roasty is the game here. Some warming alcohol and a medium MF overall with a livelier carbonation level. Great after dinner or sipping brew. Almost a little too easy to quaff for the weight. Best brew that the brewpub makes, IMO.
