Seems another offer of the increasingly popular Golden Ale/Bitter. Tasted this beer by half pint recently at my local Wetherspoon's pub, East End London.
A: it pours a slightly hazy, dark-golden colour, with a negligible, rimmed head; the body is pretty still, with tiny tiny bubbles detected.
S: slightly musty and deep, strong hayish hoppy nose, against the backdrop of mild, yet lively citric-zesty note.
T: initially a slightly acidic mouthfeel of zesty hops prevails, followed by a very soft, satisfying flavour of pale malts and slightly dry and grassy hops. The aftertaste is dryish and mildly bitter, with a hint of peanut-skin like slightly savoury flavour.
M&D: overall very smooth on the palate, while turning pleasantly dry in the end. The flavour is apparently fuller for the relatively thin body and timid aroma. Quite pleasant beer to quaff in summer.
