Brewed for Aldi, 500ml bottle
What they say: "a delicious citrusy craft lager. Cold fermented with our house lager strain & hopped with a mixture of classic european lager hops and hip new American hop "Equanot" (previously know as Equinox). It's crisp & refreshing with notes of gooseberry, grapes & pine. "
Pours clear pale gold
Aroma of gooseberry certainly, sweet malts.
Taste, some citric tartness, med/low bitterness, dry finish.
simple, inoffensive, not world beating by any stretch but nice to have more choices in drinkable lagers from aldi.
Good for an easy quaffer or for those more accustomed to less flavoursome pale lagers
