Copenhagen 7/4 2020. 50 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgaard webshop. What looks like a nice try to draw the Iron Giant on the can.
Pours slightly unclear, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a solid malty backbone and some more subdued citric notes. Biscuits, caramel and cardboard. Citrus and lime peeks in.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little rough. Sweet undercurrent. Finish is fairly dry.
More rural than exotic. But a bitter finish saves the day.

Great lacing on the glass, lovely looking beer, well carbonated. Tangy tropical flavour and floral hops. Too much bitterness on the finish to be a top class IPA but definitely decent. No adjuncts or extracts, clearly a beer brewed with care and quality

Can. Clear gold with a thick dense head.
Medium aroma of hops. Some lime, lemon and hints of pineapple.
Fruit somewhat lost on tasting with malt revealing itself.
Average body and carbonation.
It'll do.

Canned in a big old tallboy crafty craft can and purchased from budget supermarket Lidl where it is part of their Craft beer festival
Pours a fairly clear golden body with thick white head
Aroma is spritely lime
Flavour is soapy barley, citrus fruit then supreme bitterness

500ml Can from Aldi supermarket (£1.89):
Clear, medium amber with a bubbly white head about 1cm tall with really good retention. It's quite a light nose, some citrus & faint tropical notes come through with a few grassy hops & a bit of sweetness to finish. Thankfully the taste was much more pronounced, opening with a lot of bitter hops, pale malts & some citrus. It's fruity with a little strawberry sweetness alongside grapefruit & pine. It's a medium bodied beer with a strong bitterness throughout & quite a dry finish too.
