Best before 09/2021 printed on the base of the can. Pours a deep brown hue with mahogany highlights around the edges. Head is half an inch, khaki-colored and fluffy. Nose expresses smoke, brine and medicinal notes, as well as notes of cocoa. Taste is consistent with nose; however, flavor profile is a bit thinned out an watery. Smoky/medicinal/briny notes linger lightly between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light in body with a carbonation shy of assertive. Overall, a lot of promise based on the nose and appearance; however, flavor is a bit of a letdown.
