Poured from (well-designed) can into 330ml glass. Tiny sugar crystals on the rim segregating the foam lacing, slightly murky brown colour. Taste is very west coast, lemony, coniferous, powerful hop bitterness with sweet floral notes. Finish is bitter and smoother than expected. ABV is hidden by the bitterness. A very nice beer that looks a bit ropey.

Bottle. Clear. Light amber with a thin wispy head.
Smells of orange peel, candy floss and fruity white wine.
Tastes similar with clean astringent finish.
Boozy feel and rather tacky around the mouth. Medium body.
A decent attempt at an ADIPA.

Dark Golden colour with a clear white head that lingers nicely. Very citrusy in taste and smell.
From tap and Eaglesham Beer Festival - Very refreshing, chilled and great on citrus and bitterness, like an improved Joker. Drank slightly too fast, made me feel good to say the least.
From bottle purchased at Aldi - Not so impressed this time around. I found the alcohol took over that nice citrus flavour and was more malty than bitter. Perhaps just a bad batch or bottle was not stored in correct ways.
Would only recommend from tap, at this point in time.

Pours clear copper with a small head that leaves decent lace. I didn't really care for regular Joker, but this is certainly improved although still not exactly great. Nose is earthy and mildly fruity from the malts, like an amped up bitter. Taste is about the same, with amped up bitterness and a taste that is more like an imperial bitter than an IPA. Overall,it is a pretty good beer but I'm just not loving the flavors.

Dark golden clear colour, pouring with a nice head.
Ripped fruits left in alcohol on th enose.
Fruity taste with some honey in, dried raisins and a pretty strong bitterness on the beginning. The hops is also felt, still not like in a well-done craft IPA.Very well hidden alcohol. The aftertaste become sweet, with a certain barley wine-ish feel.
A better beer than its brother, the Joker IPA and a really pleasant surprise from a more commercial beer manufacturer.

Pours dark gold, bright, nice head.
Hoppy, sweet, citrussy, gooseberry. Bit subdued for a DIPA
Sweet caramel malts, piney/citrussy good bitter finish
Oily mouthfeel, light bodied for the abv. Good carb. Alcohol is present at the end, it warms as it goes down
I think this would have been better if they had quadrupled the hops instead of just doubling them :) Needs more intense hoppyness imo for a DIPA, but as a strong, hoppy pale ale it's good

Enjoyed from a bottle, carted from Scotland to Italy by friends for a long sessions night.
I originally thought this brew would be one of those that tried to outdo every other IPA with intense hops flavors. The hops flavor was there, but it as smoothe and not overbearing by any means. The brew went down easy and the aftertaste was minimal to nonexistent.
Not an IPA fan in general, but I'd have this one again.

Golden hazy color with a nice white head that disappear very quickly. Aroma is hoppy and sweet, some citrus notes. Flavor is pretty much as the aroma but more sweet. Low carbonation and medium to full body with a hoppy finish.
