Grabbed a pint ($2 on Tuesday) at the brewpub.
A: A filtered beer, warm amber color with a small creamy white head (pour was nearly to the rim of the glass). Faint lingering film. Looks good.
S: Very mild smell...a sweet caramel malt is what is being hinted at.
T: Flavor lacks any sort of punch - as mild as the smell. Maltiness and even hops seem really subdued, resulting in a weaker overall flavor. It's not a bad flavor, just so tame.
M: There are some lingering sugary malt and a slight bitter hop finish, which give the beer a pleasant mouthfeel. Crisp and clean.
D: This beer is drinkable, yes. It's light and refreshing - however the character is so timid. I really hope the brewers are able to tinker with the recipe and add something to the mix that it's presently lacking for me.
As this is a new beer from a (relatively) new brewery, I'd like to give it another try in the future.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
