what can I say. it was good. Very flavorful, medium body!?, crisp, hoppy, what a good red should be, right ? Damn I can't see how you can't like this drink. Smells good, tastes good, uhm. The pale was great too. I had both. They tasted quite similar. seems like the red had more alcohol, a bit heavier..

Another Mash Tun beer lacking freshness and inspiration. That's my third in a row - an unfortunate but revealing trend. Razorback has a slight cherrystone flavor with a surprisingly nutty finish. Its aroma is also somewhat nutty and almost suggests a mild porter. The body is shadowed sorrel - very pretty - but it yields just a scant rim of head that soon disappears. And not a shred of lace.
My pint wasn't oxidized, but clearly suffered from a lack of freshness and vigor. All elements of this beer seemed to be arriving from a great distance with little energy or immediacy. That nutty finish saves Razorback from the realm of complete disappointment. Otherwise, the beer rises no further than ho-hum.
